SmartSpace wins "Best of Show" in Modular Building Institute's newly introduced Green Building Design category

March 13, 2007—The Modular Building Institute's (MBI) 2007 Awards of Distinction contest recognized Triumph SmartSpace for excellence in green building design. The award, which marks the first time MBI has judged entries in the green building design category, is evaluated by a panel of industry peers. Triumph SmartSpace earned the accolade in this new category because its portable classroom design demonstrates superior solutions for thermal comfort, indoor air quality, daylighting, acoustic control and energy efficiency as well as for architectural excellence and economic practicality.

The MBI Awards of Distinction contest is the commercial modular industry's premiere awards program, offering competition in over 30 categories for MBI members: building manufacturers, dealers, and product and service providers. Entries are temporary, permanent, and renovated modular buildings as well as industry marketing pieces.
