December 1, 2006—The first modular school building designed to LEED specifications was opened on Wednesday, November 29, at the Carroll School in Lincoln, Massachusetts. At an event organized by Triumph, New England’s exclusive dealer of the SmartSpace modular building, participants included industry leaders, architects and educators who learned about the benefits of a portable school building designed for sustainability, comfort and aesthetic appeal. Manufacturer NRB of Ephrata, PA and ARC/Architectural Resources Cambridge were partners in the design and construction of this award-winning building. From start to finish, this new educational space took only six weeks to build and was installed on site in just five days.
SmartSpace is the newest product offered by Triumph, New England’s premier provider of custom designed temporary and permanent modular buildings.
